Distribution. Recorded from many Afrotropical countries (from the Cape Verde Islands to Somalia, including Madagascar and South Africa), in addition to many European countries, Oman, Yemen and the United Arab Emirates ( Azevedo et al. 2010 ; Olmi 1999b , 2004c , 2005c , 2008 ; Olmi and van Harten 2000 , 2006 ).
