Diagnosis. This species can be easily distinguished by the orange female metasoma, the lack of central keel, and the two rows of foveate grooves along median mesoscutal carina anteriorly. Etymology. The epithet is inspired by the Latin word for different, in reference to the different colors of metasoma between female and male, and is intended to be treated as an adjective.
