Comments
:—This is the first record for Marambaia, where it is restricted to Dense Submontane Ombrophilous Forest.
Tibouchina heteromalla
is distinguished by the bullate adaxial surface that is densely sericeous-setulose, and the reticulate-foveolate abaxial surface that is densely sericeous-villous, with sericeous-hispidulous and sparse-villous acrodromous venation and glandular-pubescent filaments at the base.
