Reports not on V . vinifera : Australia , Brazil , Canada , China , Germany , India , Mexico , Poland , Reunion Island , Taiwan , USA , Venezuela . Remarks. This species is cosmopolitan. It has been frequently reported on different crops in India . This species has been observed on herbaceous plants and fruit trees especially in apple orchards. According to a recent phylogenetic analysis (Tsolakis et al ., 2012), N . fallacis would belong to a genus defined by Athias-Henriot and not considered in the revision of the family Phytoseiidae of Chant & McMurtry (2007): Cydnodromus .
