Macrozeugophora Achard, 1914 : 288 . Type species: Macrozeugophora ornata Achard, 1914 . Gressitt, 1945 : 137 as synonym of Zeugophora . Body small, elongate, coarsely punctuated and pubescent. Eye oval and strongly prominent, inner margin with distinct canthus; frons with a triangle concave on central; inside of antennae insertion without frontal suture. Pronotum ( Figs 1, 2 ) nearly square and lateral sides paralleled, lateral tubercle rounded or conical, basal angle without setae. Elytra nearly paralleled laterally, humeri slightly protruded forward. Femora robust, tibiae slightly curved or straighted, numbers of spurs of pro-, meso- and meta-tibiae: 1, 2, 2, tarsi generally broad, claw appendiculate, without empodium. Last abdominal sternite generally with a deep concave in female, without concave in male. Median lobe ( Figs 7–9 ) flattened, entirely sclerotised except dorsocentral portion membranous, apical portion generally with a strongly sclerotised stripe centrally, lateral sides nearly paralleled, apex triangle, sharp or slightly blunt; median struts rod-shaped and widely separated from each other, 1.0–1.5 times as long as median lobe; tegmen ring shape, baseY-shaped, posterior portion trapezoid; paramere nearly square and padded, apical margin with long setae; internal sac membranous, with two pieces of spine areas at apex. SpiculumY-shaped, slightly shorter than median lobe, apex protruded forward. Ovipositor triangle, base broad and short, the remainder long and narrow, divided into two vaginal palpi; each side of ovipositor generally with two baculi, two baculi not connected but overlapped, outer one apex connected with coxite; coxite cylindrical, slightly swollen and broad, apical margin with fine and dense setae; stylus small but clear, apical margin with setae. Distribution. Palaearctic Region, Oriental Region, Nearctic Region, Afrotropical region, Austrian Region. Host plant: Salicaceae and Betulaceae .
