Wood (1862) recorded the species from “ New Granada ”, a Región at that time comprised of several countries such as Colombia , parts of Ecuador , Venezuela and Panama . As Wood (1862) mentioned the Province of Chocó , Colombia , it is a quite reliable indication that this species indeed occurs in the country. Altitudinal range. Unknown. Remarks. The validity of this species is uncertain.
