Type:— CHINA. Sichuan, Wolong, 2200 m, 24 August 1982, K. Y. Lang, L. Q. Li & Y. Fei 1528 [lectotype designated here: PE! (barcode 01147127), isolectotype: PE! (barcode 01147128)] .

Notes:— While designating the type of Habenaria wolongensis, K.Y. Lang has mentioned ‘ K. Y. Lang, L. Q. Li & Y. Fei 1528 (Typus, PE)’ in the protologue; however during a search for the type materials at PE, we found two specimens with that label. Evidently, they were of the same gathering and thus both of them should be regarded as syntypes (Art. 9.6, Art. 40 Note 1). In such circumstances, for typification, we had to choose one of them and we choose the specimen bearing the barcode no. 01147127 as the lectotype, it is the same specimen that has been illustrated in the protologue .
