Paradiopatra . — Paxton 1986; Budaeva & Fauchald 2011. Type species: Paradiopatra fragosa Ehlers, 1887 by subsequent designation of Hartman 1959: 305. Gender: feminine.

Diagnosis. Median antenna shorter or equal to lateral antennae; anterior 2–4 pairs of parapodia modified but not enlarged, with pseudocompound falcigers with moderately long to long pointed hoods; limbate chaetae without serration; branchiae with single or pectinate filaments, present only through median chaetigers or absent; postchaetal lobes limited to about ten anterior chaetigers; two pairs of anal cirri; maxillae VI absent.
