Distribution: Angola, Benin, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Nigeria.

Remark: Easily separable from the two other known species of the genus, although Villiers (1948) indicated the possibility of P. bequaerti Schouteden, 1932 being only a variant of P. nodulipes .
