Comments. This species was described by Horváth from Italy. It is however distributed in Africa and Asia and known from India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia (Drake & Poor 1937), Philippines, Java (Horváth 1906), Congo (Schouteden 1923), Kenya, Mozambique, South Africa (Drake & Ruhoff 1965b), Laos (Guilbert 2007), and Vietnam (Guilbert 2015).
