Comments. The specimen from Thailand fits with the description, however, it differs slightly from specimens from New Guinea analysed by the coloration and by the size of the areolae of the hood, which is smaller for the Thai specimen. This could be a sexual dimorphism, as the Thai specimen is a male and N. Guinean specimens are female. This species was known only from New Guinea (Drake & Ruhoff 1965b).
