Type-locality. Arabische Wüste (= “Arabian desert”, Saudi Arabia).
Diagnosis. Length. (male) body 13.5 mm, wing 9.9 mm; (female) body 11.5 mm, wing 8.5 mm.
Frons in females with sides not parallel; frontal index in female 2.26; eyes bare; wing with yellow veins; abdominal tergites with 4 greyish brown longitudinal spots.
Local distribution: Coastal strip.
Geographical distribution. Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Syria.

Remarks. Müller et al. (2012) mentioned this species as a new record for the Sinai Peninsula.
