Rhagovelia humboldti Polhemus, 1997
This species was described from the Venezuelan Amazon, and has not been recorded from other localities (Polhemus 1997, Padilla-Gil & Moreira 2013). Its presence in French Guiana is reported here for the first time, indicating that it might also occur in other portions of the Guiana Shield in Guyana, Suriname, and northern Brazil.
Material examined. FRENCH GUIANA: Cayenne —Régina, small stream after military check, N 0 4.26076, W 0 52.13031, 08.III.2014, (A. Khila; M. E. Santos; A. J. J. Crumière): 2 apterous males, 4 apterous females, 4 nymphs (IGFL).
