Habitus Fig. 14A. Length 0.93 mm. Colour dark reddish brown, antennae and legs yellow. Antennomeres 3–11 0.33 mm long Fig. 14 C. Width across eyes 0.32 mm. Mentum and submentum chaetotaxy Fig. 14 G. Pronotum 0.27 mm wide, 0.50 mm long, lateral margins sinuate before hind angles which are sharply pointed Fig. 14 B. Elytra 0.48 mm long, 0.50 mm wide. Mesoventral collar with shallow median linear depression Fig. 14 E. Posterior margin of metaventrum between metacoxae wide, metacoxal plates rounded medially Fig. 14 F. Pygidium broadly triangular, anterior border without a fringe of setae and with two larger setae close to the anterior corners and four close to the posterior margin near the tip Fig. 14 H.

Remarks. Placed by Johnson in sub genus Ctenopteryx. Wide ranging pantropical species which may have its origins in the nearctic/neotropical ecozones. No pygidial apical tooth is present in this specimen possibly the result of damage.
