Distribution. Endemic. Galápagos: Darwin, Española (ICCDRS), Genovesa, Isabela, Rábida (ICCDRS), Santa Cruz.

Remarks. Adults of this species were reared from larvae collected from leaf litter beneath Sesuvium in the littoral zone. Adults have been observed visiting flowers of Scalesia (Boada 2005) .
