Distribution. Endemic. Galápagos: Floreana, Isabela, San Cristóbal, Santa Cruz.

Remarks. Adults were collected from a variety of habitats from the dry coastal zone to 600 m, and immatures were found in brackish coastal pools, brackish seeps on water tanks and inland freshwater pools (Borkent 1991).
