Distribution. Not determined. Galápagos: Santa Cruz.

Material examined. Galápagos: Santa Cruz: Los Gemelos, 2.iii.2016, Malaise Trap 2 Control, MT (2 ♀, CNC; additional specimen in ICCDRS).

Remarks. This species was collected in highland humid zones and collected in Malaise trap surveys of Los Gemelos in 2014 and 2016 (see Remarks under Boletina). Some aspects of the male genitalia are similar to S. ocreata Philippi, as illustrated by Chandler (2006, figs 11, 12).
