Distribution. Endemic. Galápagos: Isabela, Santa Cruz, Santiago.

Remarks. Adults were collected primarily from humid highland zones and associated with wet, decaying leaf litter (Marshall 1997b). This species forms the sister group to the rest of the Neotropical members of the species group (Marshall 1997b).
