Distribution. Endemic. Galápagos: Española, Isabela, Rábida, Santa Cruz, Santa Fé.

Remarks. Aphaniosoma is confined to arid, saline habitats in the littoral zone (Wheeler & Sinclair 1994). Adults of this species were swept from beach morning glories ( Ipomoea).
