Distribution. Endemic. Galápagos: Fernandina, Floreana (ICCDRS), Isabela, Santa Cruz, Santiago.

Remarks. According to collection data, this species is common in more humid zones. Host plant unknown, but other species of this genus breed in species of Asteraceae (A.L. Norrbom pers. comm.).
