Distribution. Endemic. Galápagos: Floreana, Isabela, San Cristóbal, Santa Cruz, Santiago.

Remarks. Although larvae of this genus are mostly known as predators of scolytid beetle larvae (Bickel 1985), the immatures of this species likely inhabit rotting cactus (Bickel & Sinclair 1997).
