Distribution. Endemic. Galápagos: Santa Cruz.

Remarks. Adults of this species were collected on coastal rocks and beaches (Wirth 1969b). At CDRS, both N. ashlocki and N. galapagensis have been collected together with Paracanace cavagnaroi and Canaceoides angulatus among the intertidal rocks and sand (B.J. Sinclair unpub.).
