Type Locality: Armenia, eastern bank of Sevan Lake, Sordza (= Nadezdino), 2,000 m.

Vernacular Names: Hajastan Myotis.

Distribution: Known only from the Sevan Lake basin in Armenia.

Conservation: IUCN 2003 – Not evaluated; not considered in IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001).

Discussion: Formerly included in mystacinus, but see Benda and Tsytsulina (2000).
