Vernacular Names: Dormer's Pipistrelle.

Synonyms: Scotozous caurinus Thomas 1915 .

Distribution: India, Pakistan. A record from Taiwan is erroneous (Koopman, 1994).

Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Lower Risk (lc) as Pipistrellus dormeri .
