Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Lower Risk (nt) as Eptesicus caurinus .
Discussion: caurinus species group. Included in pumilus by McKean et al. (1978) and Koopman (1993, 1994), but see Kitchener et al. (1987) and Adams et al. (1987).
