Vernacular Names: Brown Pipistrelle.

Distribution: Java, Kangean Isl, Bali, and Lesser Sunda Isls; Borneo.

Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Lower Risk (lc) as Pipistrellus imbricatus .

Discussion: Previous reports of imbricatus from the Philippines all appear to represent javanicus; see Heaney et al. (1998).
