Vernacular Names: Northern Broad-nosed Bat.
Distribution: W Timor; SE New Guinea; NE Queensland, Northern Territory, and N Western Australia (Australia).
Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Lower Risk (lc) as Nycticeius sanborni .
Discussion: Included in balstoni by Koopman (1978 a), but see Kitchener and Caputi (1985). Reviewed by Kitchener et al. (1994 c); also see Flannery (1995 a, b) and Bonaccorso (1998).
