Southern and Central Europe, but recent records are known only from France and Spain (Bogusch and Hadrava 2018). Pesenko (1974) reported this species also from Russia - Rostov Province. Recorded also from Turkey and the Middle East (Alfken 1935; Pesenko 1974; Bogusch 2018).
