Type species. Epimelitta (?) aureopilis Fisher, 1953 (original designation)

The following key treats all currently known species of Crossomeles, including the two new species described herein.

1. Elytra longer, extending to near posterior margin of abdominal segment I or beyond, narrowly rounded apically (Figs. 2a, 3a) ................................................................................................... 2

- Elytra extending beyond posterior margin of abdominal segment I to about middle of segment II; genae about 3/4 as long as lower lobe of eye (Fig. 5d)................................................. Crossomeles oscarcastilloi sp. nov.

3. Metatibiae with dense brush of suberect setae (Figs. 4a, d, 5j); genae about 1/2 as long as lower eye lobe (Figs. 4c, 5b)......................................................................... Crossomeles aureopilis (Fisher, 1953)
