Habitat and phenology: —Primary and secondary evergreen broad-leaved forests at elevation of 1400–2000 m a.s.l. Creeping epiphyte in canopy of tall trees. Flowering in October – December.

Distribution: — India, Bhutan, Nepal, China, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam (Cao Bang, Ha Giang, and Lao Cai provinces).

Notes: —Lateral sepals form slender tube at apical half, lower margins fuse along almost all their length, upper margin free at basal half.
