Type locality. San Ramon, Alajuela Province, Costa Rica.
Remarks. Re-examination of the species shows it possesses three-part tarsi and the curved timbal cover apex characteristic of Guyalna (Fig. 8). As a result the species is herby reassigned to Guyalna to become Guyalna coffea (Sanborn, Moore & Young, 2008) n. comb . Body length 20.8–26.6 mm, fore wing length 32.5–37.6 mm (Sanborn, et al. 2008).
Distribution. The species has been reported previously from Costa Rica (Sanborn et al. 2008; Sanborn 2014).
