Syndicus (s. str.) saketianus Jałoszyński
(Figs. 6, 29)
Syndicus (s. str.) saketianus Jałoszyński, 2004: 59, Figs. 20 M–O, 23G–I, 27F, 32C.
Material studied: MYANMAR: 2 exx., "Tenasserim, Meetan, Fea, Apr. 1887 "; 15 exx., "Palon, (Pegù), L. Fea, VIII–IX 87 [i.e., 1887]"; 1 ex., "Bhamò, Birmania, Fea, VII 1886 "; 2 exx., "Bhamò, Birmania, Fea, VI 1886 " (specimens in MSNG and cPJ).
Distribution (Fig. 29). Previously known only from three specimens collected in the northern part of Thailand (Chiang Mai); here recorded for the first time not only from adjacent areas in Myanmar, but also from northern Myanmar, close to the border with China.
Remarks. Among species of Syndicus occurring in northern Thailand and central Myanmar, S. saketianus has males with unremarkable metafemoral clava and identifications must be always confirmed by examination of unique aedeagus and spermatheca (illustrated by Jałoszyński (2004)).
