REMARK

Rare in our samples, only recorded in rotten wood from Oued Z’hor. The Collo specimens, and those cited in the literature from Algeria, correspond to F. afurcata rather than F. ladeiroi . The two species are very similar, but can be distinguished by their posterior chaetae (serrated versus smooth) and the presence vs absence of chaeta a2 on the fifth abdominal tergite.
