Distribution. Endemic to Socotra.

Remark. The species appears to be widely distributed and rather common on its home island. The adult is illustrated in Fig. 8 and the male genitalia in Bengtsson (2002). The female genitalia will be described in the review of Afrotropical Scythrididae (Bengtsson, pers. comm.).
