Distribution: Neotropical.

Records in Ecuador: Chimborazo, Cotopaxi, Pichincha, Zamora Chinchipe ( San Francisco Biological Reserve) and Napo (above Papallacta).

Habitat: Azorella spp. and Carez spp. Descomposed Pinus litter+soil. Litter+moss with roots. Valley of a creek, litter+moss, very wet. Leaf litter and forest soil.
