Distribution: Neotropical (Cuba, Ecuador).

Records in Ecuador: Loja (andean mountain region of the Loja valley) and Zamora Chinchipe ( San Francisco Biological Reserve) .

Habitat: Soil and litter of degraded forest. Litterbags of Graffenrieda emarginata, Clusia spp. and Cavendishia zamorensis .
