Diagnosis.
The genus is characterised by: peculiar scopula (called a feathery flag in Deeleman-Reinhold (2001)) on nearly the entire prolateral surface of the lengthened tarsi II (Fig. 18G), the patterned body with lazulite-coloured blue spots on the abdomen and coxae (Fig. 18E-H), the widely separated AME and PME (Fig. 18E, G), and the enlarged chelicerae of the male (Fig. 18E).
