Spariolenus secundus Jäger, 2006: 309, figs 1–11, 16–17.
Material examined. Oman: Ad Dakhiliyah Region: 2♀♀ and 3 immatures, [label: Jebel Shams, 2000 m, limestone cave, coll. P.M. Booth (capt.) Oct. 1976 (NHM)] .
Remarks. Here is a new geographic record (Fig. 13) for the single Spariolenus species in the Arabian Peninsula. The largest female is 25.5 mm in length (PL: 11.5, OL: 14.0). These large females have the same character states as described for the type specimens (see Jäger 2006). The type specimens were collected from the Al-Hota cave system. Here, we report the second record of S. secundus in another cave system in Jebel Shams, containing the highest summit in Oman, east of the type locality.
