Phryxus caicus (Cramer, 1777)

General distribution. Florida to Argentina including the West Indies.

Distribution in the DR. Pedernales (Fig 1. E).

Habitat. The species is not common in DR, the few known specimens were collected in the sparsely wooded coastal area of the south of the island.

Host plants. Apocynaceae .
