Euodynerus dantici hellenicus Blüthgen, 1942: 301, ♀, ♂ — “Amorgos (Kykladen)” (NHMW).
Euodynerus hellenicus vechti Gusenleitner, 1972: 77, ♀, ♂ — “ Spanien, Badajoz, Merida ” (holotype female RMNH).
Distribution. Occurring in the Iberian Peninsula, in the area ranging from the Balkan Peninsula to Afghanistan and descending into the Levant (Gusenleitner 2013; present data).
Notes. This species shows a disjunct distribution, being known from the Iberian Peninsula in the west and from an area ranging from the Balkan Peninsula to Afghanistan in the east, with a gap in the Italian Peninsula. Morphological comparison and genetic data confirm the conspecificity of the two populations, as no morphological and genetic differences were observed (Fig. 3).
