Euodynerus (Pareuodynerus) bidentiformis (Giordani Soika, 1942)

(Figs 11A, D; 15A, F, J)

Odynerus bidentiformis Giordani Soika, 1942: 58, ♀, (in subgenus Rhynchium) — “ Sardegna: Macomer ” (? type lost).

Distribution. Endemic from Sardinia (Gusenleitner 1997).

Notes. Giordani Soika (1996) synonymized E. bidentiformis under E. bidentatus without providing any motivation, and the synonymy was also reported by Borsato & Ratti (1999). As already noticed by Borsato (2006), this synonymy is erroneous, as E. bidentiformis and E. bidentatus show clear differences both in morphology (see key) and COI sequence.
