Total body length (female holotype): 4.13.

Type material examined. Holotype: ♀, Costa Rica, Turrialba, A.B.S. King coll., 31.i.1978, collected on Phaseolus vulgaris (NMNH).

Distribution (Fig. 7). Costa Rica.

Discussion. Ceratotingis costarriquense like C. rafaeli and C. spatula has a uniseriated costal area, but it can be distinguished from C. rafaeli by its wider paranota and shorter segment Iand from C. spatula by its hump, higher hood and longer discoidal area.
