Uroleucon formosanum formosanum (Takahashi, 1921)

Published information. Hanoi, Cầu Giấy District, Mai D ịch, 25.v.1966, Lactuca sp. (Szelegiewicz 1968) .

Sirikajornjaru & Hung (2007) indicate another 2 species identified only to the genus level— Astegopteryx sp. from Bambusa sp. and Schoutedenia sp. from Lagerstroemia sp.

Yoshitomi et al. (2014) and Yoshitomi et al. (2015) also indicate 12 species collected in Vietnam and reliably identified by them only to the genus level:

— Aphis (Aphis) nr. egomae Shinji, 1922 from Perilla frutescens (L.) Britton;

— Astegopteryx sp. and Ceratovacuna nr. japonica (Takahashi, 1924) from an undetermined plant of the Bambuseae tribe;

— Capitophorus sp., Macrosiphoniella sp. nr. yomogifoliae (Shinji, 1922) and Macrosiphoniella nr. hikosanensis Moritsu 1949 from Artemisia indica Willd.;

— Hyperomyzus sp. from Sonchus sp.;

— Greenidea sp. from an undetermined plant;

— Idiopterus nr. nephrelepidis Davis, 1909 from Pteris nr. vittata L.;

— Melanaphis sp. from Miscanthus sp.;

— Pseudoregma nr. bambucicola (Takahashi, 1921) from Microstegium vimineum (Trin.) A.Camus;

— Sitobion sp. nr. ibarae (Matsumura, 1917) from Rubus sp.

In addition, Yoshitomi et al. (2014) report the occurrence of several Aphis species (listed as “ Aphis spp. ”) on Eupatorium sp., Pilea sp. and Bidens pilosa L., but it remains unclear whether a different aphid species or even several aphids were found on each plant species, or whether a single species was found on several plant species. Yoshitomi et al. (2015) report data on collections of two more aphid species that have not been identified even to the genus level and are designated in their publication as “Gen. et sp.” One of these species was collected from an unknown plant of the tribe Bambuseae, the second was caught by light trap.
