Local distribution and occurrence: Kuwait Bay (Ras Ajuza), Al-Messilah beach, Ras Al-Zour, Al-Khiran, Al-Nuwaiseeb, Failaka Island, Auha Island; occasional (6%).

Habitat: Intertidal zone; shells, sponges, and algae.
