Nallachius adamsi Penny, 1981

This species originally was described based on four males from Manaus, in the state of Amazonas (Penny 1981). We examined another two males specimens collected near Areias Creek, a tributary of the Nhamundá River at the boundary between the states of Amazonas and Pará. While this specimen was collected in Amazonas as was the original description, this is still a large range expansion, eastward and north of the Amazon River.
