Apogonia miyakei nom. nov.

Apogonia ovata Miyake and Yamaguchi, 1998: 25 (nec Fåhraeus in Boheman, 1857)

Type locality: " Kaeng Tana, Khong Chiam, Ubonratchathani, E. Thailand " .

Distribution: Thailand (Miyake and Yamaguchi, 1998).

Remark: Apogonia ovata Miyake and Yamaguchi, 1998 is currently regarded as a primary junior homonym of A. ovata Fåhraeus in Boheman, 1857 (currently Dichecephala ovata). Because there is no available substitute name for A. ovata Miyake and Yamaguchi, a new name A. miyakei nom. nov. is proposed.
