Comments: Eupines (E.) nasuta has a median antebasal fovea and a punctate pronotal base, characters that are consistent with members of the genus Eupinolus . The peniculate scape, the narrow frons and the small subapical protuberance of protibiae in males also match the types of Eupinolus altulus, resulting in the new synonomy recognized above.
