161. Haemaphysalis tibetensis Hoogstraal, 1965 .
A Palearctic species whose adults and nymphs have been found on Artiodactyla: Bovidae, and Carnivora: Canidae; larvae alone have been collected from Lagomorpha: Ochotonidae (Guglielmone et al. 2014, Liu et al. 2017). There are no records of Haemaphysalis tibetensis causing human parasitism.

Note: Kolonin (2009) treats the nymph of Haemaphysalis tibetensis as undescribed, but it was described before 2009, as cited above. The adults of Haemaphysalis tibetensis were originally identified as Haemaphysalis warburtoni, as explained in Hoogstraal (1965).
