172. Haemaphysalis yeni Toumanoff, 1944 .
An Oriental and Palearctic species whose adults are usually found on Artiodactyla: Cervidae . All parasitic stages have been collected from Artiodactyla: Cervidae, and Lagomorpha: Leporidae; adults and immature stages have been recovered from Carnivora: Canidae, Felidae and Viverridae; adults alone have been taken from Artiodactyla: Bovidae and Suidae (Guglielmone et al. 2014, Hou et al. 2014). There are no records of Haemaphysalis yeni causing human parasitism.
