19. Rhipicephalus cuspidatus Neumann, 1906 .
An Afrotropical species whose adults are usually found on Artiodactyla: Suidae . All parasitic stages have been collected from Artiodactyla: Suidae, and Rodentia: Hystricidae; adults and nymphs have been recovered from Carnivora: Canidae and Hyaenidae, Rodentia: Thryonomyidae, and Tubulidentata: Orycteropodidae; nymphs alone have been found on Artiodactyla: Bovidae, Carnivora: Felidae and Herpestidae, and Galliformes: Phasianidae . There are no records of Rhipicephalus cuspidatus causing human parasitism.
